    [GUIDE] Disable CPU rendering

Again to comment, editing your egl.cfg and deleting the android GLES lib will work on Froyo. The part that can cause bootloops would be your dalvik dexopt codes. You'll want "m=y,o=v,u=y" since what code I have omitted is ICS only. First is to use register mapping, then verify optimization, and...

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

Hardware Acceleration adds RAM, amongst other changed. I suggest using KSM - even compcache if its still there and you're desperate for RAM.

    [ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

Error checking needs to be disabled via dalvik otherwise the dalvik value will override the build.prop ones. You'll have to put this: dalvik.vm.checkjni=false ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0 ro.kernel.checkjni=0 which includes the other two you'd normally put there to completely disable checking...

    [GUIDE] Disable CPU rendering

Surprised this wasn't mentioned before. Old and simple trick. I If you want a bigger boost in speed you can disable some dalvik stuff and you'll have a virtually lagless experience; I've gotten my keyboard lag gone with some of the dexopt codes. No. Some games have problems with thinking the...

Hmm ok then I guess. Youtube HQ is my only gripe with deep sleep so I'm on the prowl for anything that would help.

@TDM: Apparently these guys got OpenMax incl. Youtube HQ working for the GSM version of the phones. Thread is here and linked-from post is here. In case you didn't know.

Doesn't work here. Been adding this to build.prop since earlier alphas and it never provided deep sleep at any point.

Apologies. Perhaps I'll shoot the dev a message about it. A just in case.

TDM: If RomKeeper is kind of dragging perhaps look into using UpdateMe. [APP][DEV] Update me [ROM MAKER] - 1.3.2 - (updated 2012-06-11) - xda-developers Regards.

I hope you're not thinking that brick = bootloop Popular misconception. Brick would render your phone brick like and not be able to be used. If you're bootlooped wipe and start over.

Isn't limited to just the pandaboard. That was just the test hardware. Will work across most ARM chips with a few tweaks. Also I do not wish to pressure tdm as well but. the boost can't hurt. I'll be patient until he hooks us up.

I know you've stated you haven't looked at it yet but I eagerly await Linaro enabled builds.

Maintaining 9 ROMs will be very excessive imo. Things should be streamlined. Personally, I think adopting thekraven's style would be best moving forward. Dev moving forward for CM9, and have the Optimus S flashable fixes if needed. Secondly, to satisfy other variants to build, this is where...

    [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.85 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 10June12 Well some do work, and the other one that does (max_events for the windowsmgr) isn't activated because of the mishap. Gives it a nice smoothness boost though. I myself use 100 for the value.
