Just wondering, as I've never unlocked before, but if I unlock the phone with a friends t-mobile sim, is the phone only unlocked to that sim, the t-mobile network, or is it unlocked regardless of the sim that is inserted? Cheers Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk

I found a code "android50" that cuts the price by 50%... used it today and got the Atrix unlock for $19.99 (canadian). Not bad imo when you can get a SIM only plan overseas while you travel... I will post back when I actually get the unlock code and verify that it works... apparently it can...

Here is what i get after trying the process again... still not rooted (using the terminal "su" command check...) :( That being said, I do have superuser in my app tray... so, I'm sorta rooted I guess... Getting temporary root access... * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 * *...

So, I did everything as you wrote, however I get a lot of this as a result... "aRoot.sh: line 42: ./adb: No such file or directory" Any thoughts?

bump. Also, I just got a new phone, as the old one was doing weird things too much, and the AT&T rep decided to kill it off. The new phone acts much differently than the first one. It actually acts like it has a dual core processor. I haven't tried charging it and using navi yet though...

I am draining my battery fairly quickly also... I am forcing myself to not use live wallpapers, various widgets, etc. and I still drain it fairly quickly. I use ATK like it's my job, and still can't manage to keep my battery full, or at a decent level.

This may be a bit of a newb question, and I have searched, but how much memory should we have free at any moment? I know that this will vary with applications that we have open, widgets running, etc. but on a stock Atrix, out of the box, what is the amount of free memory that should be...
