Do you happened to be in direct sunlight or a really bright light when this happens? If automatic brightness senses you're in really bright light, it's goes into this special super bright mode to make the display more readable but it washes out the colors in the process

my best so far, I was on LTE the whole time other than the short time on wifi. I don't know why the mobile network signal and awake bars aren't showing correctly but I did have data on the whole time, this was on auto brightness with battery saver off
