While trying to hook up my Nexus 7 for car charging using a DIY 5v 2amp SMPS I noticed the lightening bolt symbol not coming on even though it does with the 5v 2amp supplied wall wart. Still draws about 500mA though. Why no lightening bolt?. After reading this blog and poking around with a...
