I have Whoisit Pro 2.8 on an HTC Thunderbolt. In contacts, I have set ringtones and custom vibrations for email, SMS/MMS and phone calls using Whoisit. The default ringtones for the phone are not set to silent. The phone's volume is set. I have set notifications to silent in gmail and Go SMS...

Thanks for this. It was actually the display model in the Verizon store, so it could have easily been miscalibrated. I did not think about that possibility at all.

Hey all, BB user here contemplating the leap to the Thunderbolt. I played with it a bit in the store and really like the interface. I had trouble with the onscreen keyboard - I kept hitting the key below the one I wanted. Is this a learning thing coming to a touch keyboard? Any keyboard...
