Just sold my G3 for a Moto x. Best decision I ever made. My G3 was a huge pos. It is amazing these phones run on the same chip set. The software build on the Moto X is leaps and bounds better than the G3's. Pick the X. You will not regret it.

Columbus recently got upgraded and the modem on my note 2 acted stupid it would jump between bands and freq all the time for no a parent reason. Give it some time and it will get better but I personally think tmo nerds to push out a modern upgrade because the current one is pretty bad but still...

I work at sprint and they told us that the e4gt had the same radios as the nexus and if any one remembers the nexus and how ****ty the reception was when it first came out the poor reception issues should come as no surprise. I found the new Facebook app was killing my battery by keeping the phone awake it even says that is one of the permissions to keep your phone awake. I froze it and battery life was great, also I have auto run manager and I disabled the receivers for Facebook and that seemed to help out as well...

Why don't you just wait it out, I'm pretty sure sprint is rolling out rev b with the network vision plan if not when the towers are combined things are going to be way better you just need to be patient and trust me if we do get rev b there is no way they will leave the epic touch in the cold...

Not sure what you ate doing wrong but the ota didn't work so I had to manually do out with the Motorola update soft ware, lost riot after ward re ran the root again and worked just fine my buddy did his too no prob. So something must be wrong and your not doing it right would be my guess.
