I tried quite a few cases before I found the Slim Meta case by Obliq: https://obliqproduct.com/products/galaxy-note-9-slim-meta-case?variant=8838649806902 It is a 2-piece case, TPU covered by a hard plastic shell. It is good looking, sturdy and best of all, it doesn't add much bulk to the phone.

Bluetooth connections have been working great for 3 weeks since I turned off optimize battery usage in the Bluetooth system apps and then reset the network settings (yes, I know this part is a pain, but it is working). Not sure why Samsung didn't figure this out before Pie update but hoping this...

It has been over a week since I did this fix and it is still working - all of my Bluetooth devices are connecting automatically.

I tried these changes 3 days ago and now am not having Bluetooth connection issues that I had been having with my smartwatch and car. I went into Apps>Show System Apps, then went into each Bluetooth app, selected Battery, and turned off Optimize Battery Usage. Then I reset my network settings...

Re: All of my synced bluetooth devices disappeared from phone just now. I was having this issue all the time after the Pie update. Found solution: Under Battery settings, I turned off "Put unused apps to sleep." Now my devices stay paired and automatically connect like before the update.

I think I may have found a solution to my paired Bluetooth devices not connecting. Under Battery settings, I turned off "Put unused apps to sleep." My smartwatch and car are now connecting automatically like before the Pie update.

I haven't swapped Sims, but ever since One UI update, by phone keeps losing Bluetooth pairing with my car.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it works now - thanks.

VIP Access app is VPN I must use in order to connect to work network from home. The app won't open since my phone did the upgrade to Pie, just gives option to open app data or send feedback. Any suggestions?

Have had Whitestone Dome on mine since Sept, is holding up well, keeps screen very responsive, is easy to clean. Worth the cost in my opinion.

I am in the same boat, my Note 5 camera was amazing, my Note 9 which I got in August takes horrible photos.

I love everything about the Note 9 except the camera, it is so crappy compared to the camera on my previous Note 5.

If you install EdgeLight edge panel, you can use edge lighting for calls when the phone is face up.
