Hello Any other suggestions on my Eee Prime freeze on splash screen?

I am told this occurred after trying a firmware update so the motherboard may be OK. Could a firmware update fry the motherboard? Is there a way to completely clear the firmware? As I said factory reset using the pinhole switch doesn't help. Regards

Hi B Diddy Thanks for your reply. I have used the button combination and there is no change in the splash screen. I also have done a factory reset by pressing the switch inside the pinhole with no change. Any other suggestions Thanks
