I like the MAXX perfectly fine just the way it is. I have ICS on my transformer tablet and while it is nice it is not so much nicer that I would let it influence what phone I use.

I think you misunderstood his post. He was actually agreeing that rebooting the xoom every few days is necessary to maintain fast operation but saying that most users probably don't have a problem with having to do that. I've started rebooting mine every few days and it isn't a big deal to me.

The only firewall on my PC is the one that comes built in with Windows 7. I checked and the splashtop program was one of the allowed programs in the list automatically. My router is not an N router either. I'll try contacting the dev for help. thanks for the suggestions.

True but the concern should be for honeycomb based tablets not xoom. As long as the other honeycomb tablets sell in volume then the support will be there. The xoom doesn't have to sell millions for us to get support. That is the same principle that lead to the sucess of android phones. No need...

I was just reading about a internet movie rental service called Zediva that allows you to rent current movies for streaming over the internet. It says that it supports Android devices. Has anyone tried this on the Xoom yet? Sounds like it might be a cool alternative for watching current...
