With iOS you can almost never jailbreak your device again after an update until new exploits have been found. Is this different for Android so that you can always root again after a new firmware update?

I have a Nubia Z7 Max which came with ROM v1.29. I updated to the latest v1.41 but in this update they have disabled the home screen from rotating in landscape mode. It worked fine in v1.29. Is it possible to use the launcher from v1.29 in v1.41? If so, how please.

Got it sorted. Had to manually delete busybox and su files from my bin and xbin folders. Phone is Nubia Z7 Mini. Amazing device for the money.

Since I'm talking to myself here, I might as well do another update. Unrooted my phone and gapps is still working so all good. BUT Certain apps still say my phone is rooted and refuse to work. Phone is confirmed fully unrooted.

Lifetime iOS user but got bored eventually and tired of Apple dictating what users should do with the products they spend so much money on. Have had my Android phone for a week now and must say I'm loving it. Now I just need to build up some knowledge and hope I've come to the right place. :D
