    What's the story US?

I am lucky enough to live in Vietnam. Retailers here often stock mobiles specific to other regions, I am currently using a Japanese branded Sony z3c, which sells for about 50% of local Sony stock. An ad from a local retailer caught my attention, HTC one m9, 99% new (given I imagine these scratch...

    Weekly Photo Contest: Construction

Photo was taken a little while ago on a humble HTC One V. A great camera but a largely forgettable phone. Photo is of a building site which was taken over by a local restaurant. Space in Saigon is limited, and local restaurants grab any open space that they can find, be it on the sidewalk /...

    Weekly Photo Contest: Vintage

Bike is a Mobylette, half bicycle half motorbike. Imported into Vietnam from France from the early 1950's. They were for the super elite in Vietnam until Honda made it big. This particular bike could possibly be the most travelled, France to Vietnam in 1953, driven around Vietnam for +50 years...

    Sony Xperia Z2a

Sorry, long time between responses. Had my zl2 / z2a for a month or so now. Happy with it, beautiful screen, great rear camera, super battery (replaced Nexus 4). In water photos are fun. As mentioned, this is really an anti-selfie camera...absolutely impossible to send a decent **** pic...

I am contemplating getting either of these phones, cost is the same (approximately $300 USD), but it has been difficult getting any reviews of...

Hi All I considering buying a phone that will be rooted. My concern is whether rooting the phone will have any impact on accessing google apps (play store, gmail, maps etc) and also updating existing apps. Can someone let me know if rooting the phone will impact this. Thanks. Adam

Holiday Photo Contest: Android mini collectible giveaway!

Unedited photo from my favourite camera phone, HTC One V. Photo is taken on an island called Phu Quoc, part of Vietnam, though sits below Cambodia. The photo captured the pace of our holiday, taking it easier like the happy beach side cows.

    Weekly Photo Contest: Transportation

Photos of beautifully restored Vespa's in Saigon. Photo was taken by much missed photo machine, HTC One V uneditied. Terrible phone, fantastic camera.

    Weekly Photo Contest: Family

Photo using Nexus 4, unedited. Shot was taken in a restaurant in Saigon Vietnam. My son's are doing the traditional Vietnamese version of cheers, "Mot Hai Ba YO!", normally done with beer, this time lemonade :) Though my eldest son is doing a good job of looking drunk.
