    AC Oneplus invite community

Re: Any invites? Still on this Lumia 521. If anyone has an invite, I'd appreciate it. Nexus 6 is out of my price range, so def want to buy a OPO.

Google Shamu: Motorola Nexus 6 (Nexus X)

Lots of folks over at their forums talk about issues with stability regarding certain tasks. They had a big OTA update that was supposed to help with a lot of issues though. For what length of time did you use one?

Google Shamu: Motorola Nexus 6 (Nexus X)

OPO seems insanely buggy to me. I was interested...specs/price is right, but too afraid of constant crashes and freezes to go for it.

The Nexus 6 isn't as big as you guys think.!

What is that, a piece of cardboard? Yeah, I really put a ton of stock in that.

    Google Nexus 6 Why Nexus?

Re: Why Nexus? No, not really. Mint is based on Ubuntu. Majority of the code, DE, repo's, file system, etc. is all the same. TouchWiz is not a different OS than Android. It's a 'flavor' like Mint is of Ubuntu. The Core OS is there, with 'enhancements' in areas as the manufacturer sees fit...

    Google Nexus 6 Why Nexus?

Re: Why Nexus? Skins are much more than a launcher. Animations, redundant apps, useless features, etc. are included. I've never had a Nexus device. Currently using a WP8.1 device. I will switch to a Nexus 6 should one come out within the next few weeks...

    Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

Re: Nexus 6 on VERIZON Verizon is CDMA. AT&T is GSM. Totally different. If you want to use it on AT&T, but it from the Play Store. Should work fine on AT&T and T-Mobile (also GSM) and can easily be sold if you don't want to keep it.

    Stability

Hi guys, Strongly considering this phone or the rumored Nexus X (I can only wait so long for them to officially announce). I like the idea of a more pure Android experience as I cannot stand lag or useless features and bloatware. However, I'm concerned about the stability of the OS on the OPO...

    Note 4 "Gapgate"

Yet, strangely, several folks said there was no gap when checking out demo units in store. This was before Samsung said there was a gap by design. Fanboys denied existence of the gap because they thought it was a design flaw...classic

    Note 4 "Gapgate"

re: Note 4 "Gapgate" Time is money. If I pay $700+ for a phone, I expect it to be free of flaws/issues. Don't have time to deal with sending it back or switching to a loaner, etc.

TouchWiz on Note 4 still lags

This really concerns me. I'm looking to upgrade from my Nokia Lumia 521, which is lag-free when it comes to scrolling, opening menus/apps, animations, etc. My experience with Android has always been less fluid except for the highest end devices...but the bloat that is TouchWiz can still cripple...
