I actually totally just figured out how you can fix this. On the G4 when you adjust the ringer volume you can press a button to expand your volumes. I attached a screenshot, if you turn down system sounds all the way, it should disable the battery notifications. It did for my phone. :) Posted...

I never thought that this would affect anyone so negatively lol, maybe I'm just a heavy sleeper. There should be an option in the battery settings to disable the notification for battery full on the G4, at least there is on mine. There's also an option to disable the breathing charging light...
