I think the best of the best is still something like the samsung slim book cover.

the best cover for the S2 9.7 is the samsung slim design type (snap ons with the 2 rear buttons) - don't bother getting anything else as it will quickly bulk up the tablet. There are ebay equivalent that's tons cheaper than buying the samsung covers on retail.

can't see why anyone would want smaller than the 9.7. The S2 9.7 is super light and slim it's easy to carry around.

The K480 is very good for typing - I truly enjoy using it - the key travels and spacing is very good for serious work.

Got the K480 blue tooth keyboard and it's simply fantastic. It turned the S2 (or any tablet) into something like the Surface Pro or even a notebook. The keys feel great to type on too. It almost makes my notebook redundant.

Another pro point for the S2 - I love how the usb interface is not centred - so when u go landscape it and you're charging it doesn't get in the way i always love the samsung back key icons on the bottomw - when i used the IPad i never knew how to return to where i was.

I got the white 9.7 and i like it - white is clean and nice and classy - the black looks a bit less of all those points.

Can't say much of performance because all i do is read pdf magazines via Xodo (it's the perfect PDF reader) and watch a bit of 'garden shed' movies.....

Battery life is not the S2's strong point. It's a fact that the S2's battery is smaller than the ipad. I'm lucky I'm a casual tablet user - just around the house for surfing, while watching tv, taking a s h i t, spending time with wifey......but I do noticed the battery goes down quite quickly...

I got hold of a very nice slip-in leather sleeves from HarveyNorman for $1. I'm thinking of going commando - without any case. The S2 is so damn light it's easy to handhold using it. Anything short of the original samsung case would be too bulky and heavy.
