Verizon predicts Maxx owners will shell out more $$$$ for a new phone or contract extension to have the latest software.

Pretty sure this was just a radio update. 4.4.2 update is still in the works.

Not sure about switching lines, but I know the old phone on the line will be deactivated upon delivery of the new phone. My Maxx was already activated when I took it out of the box. Posted via Android Central App

I have had my Maxx for over a month. I have squeezed and pushed every which way on it to make it squeak and it won't make a peep. Go to the store and test out the phone you buy before leaving. Posted via Android Central App

Not a Maxx question but in general, how come there are not notification sounds that say "text" or "gmail"? I would know exactly what I have received without even having to look at my phone or remember what sound goes with what program. Edit, browsing Zedge and finding some good sounds!

I think the screen looks very good. Blacks are very deep. I came from a Droid DNA and I really can't tell much of a difference. Just because it is only 720P does not mean it looks different in normal, everyday use.

Yes I even asked the online chat salesperson and they said it doesn't work for the Maxx. I'm guessing the demand for this phone is strong.

Waiting on My Newegg Pre-order. Got it for $179.99, I will be selling my DNA so no rush. Saving $120.00 worth it to me, plus I feel like I'm talking to a used car salesman in the corporate stores.
