how fast does your battery run down when your g2 is in use?

Thought about the G3, but I honestly don't really see it as an upgrade. The resolution difference will be unnoticeable and the drop in brightness of the G3 screen kills it for me. Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk

    Xoom--Not selling very well

Damn...the guy above me hit it on the head. Xoom introductory pricing is going to be the death of it. Doesn't matter how great a product is, if you are comparing it to other similar products equally good, if not better for hundreds less, you are going to fail.

Can the ipad 2 do anything that the Xoom can't?

You can use iPad for days on end with no forecloses or lockups...obviously considerably more apps optimized for tablet...the rest have been mentioned.

I just have to ask about a widget.

Long press home screen, click on widgets, then click on home screen tips...that should get you what you're looking for. Make sure to have one full row available to place the widget or it won't work.

Just tried out XOOM at Best Buy

The store model was choppy and sometimes unresponsive...the unit I bought was as well. Back to the store it went...going to wait on HP Touchpad.

iPad 2 shames xoom in graphics

Buying a product (or defending one for that matter) solely on specs or benchmark scores is absurd. Point proven by the fact that the original iPad with its single core processor is much smoother than the Xoom with a dual core processor with faster cpu speeds. It's all about user "experience"...

    Xoom--Not selling very well

Strong words...don't really agree that it's junk, it's just more of a beta product at this point. Motorola royally screwed up by not releasing wifi version first. People see price first, specs second. They see an Apple product that they know is mature and will not give them headaches for...

    Xoom--Not selling very well

Yea, I was thinking maybe I just got a crappy one, but started looking at more and more reviews saying the same thing. Pinch to zoom is not as responsive, the screen is not as responsive, as I found myself having to tap on icons several times from time to time. I could have dealt with the no...

    Xoom--Not selling very well

My mistake then, although that alone wouldn't have changed my mind about the xoom. It was still quite choppy, no where near as smooth as even the original iPad. I can't even imagine how it would compare to the newest iPad. I have always been a HUGE Android fan...I currently own the Evo since day...

    Xoom--Not selling very well

Wrong...you don't have to purchase a month of service if you get the xoom from Verizon. On another note, I kept my xoom for one night and unfortunately had to pay a $70 restocking fee. It was choppier than my ipad, had **** for apps, the mobile view in the browser was the straw that broke my...
