havent tried any bluetoth headphones but normal headphones are fine with no distortion at all. loudspeaker is also fine. i could try replacing the earpiece again :S

ive got a 6 month old nexus 5 x and when someone on the other end talks the earpiece buzzes. it sounds like the earpiece is blown. only time it stops is when the volume is down to 30%. ive tried changing the earpiece with one i got off ebay but its exactly the same. anyone else had this problem...

Took the phone completely apart today to check everything but couldnt see any damage. Put it back together and ive managed to charge it to 100%. Hopefully its cured now. Thanks

Just replaced the charging port and still the same problem :(

yes already tried it a few times with the wall socket with 4 different chargers

I tried charging it last night by USB and the battery now is completely dead :( ive ordered another charging port to see if that will make a difference

Thanks for the reply. When I plug it into the mains it says AC and when I plug it into a usb socket it comes up with USB. No its never had any water damage.
