This isn't true. I didn't have to tell anyone I txt with to do anything different. Message convos I was in picked up as multi-recipient MMS after I deactivated iMessage. I also activated iMessage on my iPad at the same time so maybe that had something to do with my success.

Yeah the resolution is fine as long as you have a decent shot that doesn't need to be cropped at all.

So after listening to the Android Central podcasts about the device I went and played with it for about 45 mins the other day and a local verizon store. The thing feels great in the hand. I find it hard to believe that anyone coming from an M7 will find this heavy, it's basically the same...

Exactly. If you're just looking to share on facebook or instagram it's probably fine. If you want images you're going to actually retain or print in a book for grandparents, this might not be the device for you.

This will probably work best, but if you don't want to do that and you still have the iOS device then turn it on and enable then disable iMessage again. This is what I had to do months after I initially did this when I got my M7.

That's what YOU'RE discussing. What the rest of us are saying is that the images this camera takes, especially if there is any zoom or cropping, lack detail. Then maybe they decrease the pixel size in order to increase the number of MP.

For such a destructive behavior there should be a user setting and it should be opt in. My kids could easily trigger this.

So you're saying a modern 4mp camera is far better than ones produced in 2003? OK, I can buy that. Can you point me to a few so I can have a look?
