BINGO! Doing exactly that and nothing shows up but the same old wallpapers. I do have a pixel 2 running Android 9. I'm so confused!

When I run the wallpaper app, no new wallpapers show up

I see the app that the APK downloaded ( Pixel Wallpapers 18) and I have the PNG files in my downloads. I'm stuck after this.

I've downloaded the wallpapers and the APK file, installed the APK file. My pixel 2 tells me it installed just fine but no new wallpapers show up and all the png files I downloaded, only display as a static image. Any suggestions? I've restarted my phone after and still nothing.

I'll try deleting all fingerprints and see it helps.

Yes I'm very impressed with it too, when it works properly. Just to clarify, the problems isn't on every fingerprint read. It seems to happen randomly. I hope it's a software issue and not hardware.
