Went to the Verizon store last night and they said it was defective hardware. Replaced it with a new phone on the spot. The tech said that anytime the phone doesn't respond to the master reset that it's hardware failure.

Was rebooting my wife's Pro last night and it died on me. Wouldn't reboot. The screen just had the white Motorola symbol and stayed like that for a minute or so. I tried pulling the battery then rebooting with the same result. Called Verizon CS and they walked me through a full master reset...
