Press and hold the "Smilie" button on the bottom left, the "Smilie" then turns black. If you let go, they all show up on the screen. I cannot figure out how to do this.. Where is this, I cannot find it.

I have to do this about every month, or else it slows down again. :( Maybe Jelly Bean will fix this issue?

I have the exact same issues as the OP. I've tried everything! It's even slow after you press "Send"... the text message log takes at least 20 seconds to catch up. Same with opening up the "People" app. Any ideas that could fix it? Is it really a corrupt file issue? Factory reset the only fix?

Would love a Nexus 7 tablet!!
