My wife has the Pixel and I have the Pixel XL. When I've used her phone, I haven't noticed a big difference in the screens due to the resolution. Both screens are very nice and bright. I think you will be fine if that's your only issue.

I have the Pixel XL and my wife has the Pixel. Honestly, other than size, I haven't noticed any other differences. Even the screen resolution doesn't stand out due to the smaller size of the Pixel. Both have the same smooth performance and great camera.

Thank you! I don't get the angle of some people here. Every product has flaws. The Pixel is no different. The question is can the product work for you. It looks like the camera in the Pixel is working great for you and I have had the same experience.

I'm not sure if it's in the regular version yet, but the beta version of Nova Launcher has app shortcuts.

Please post a picture once you get it. I've never used a skin on my phone and I'm on the fence about it. I really don't like cases.

I'm not sure what you have experienced, but I have used my Pixel XL with Android Auto everyday since I received it and I have had no issues. Edit: I see you elaborated later in the thread that you are having issues with a Pioneer head unit. I am using mine with the built-in unit from Honda.

I just made the move to the Pixel XL. I miss the ambient display notifications, but otherwise I'm really pleased. The Pixel camera is much better and the phone is just really smooth.

I'm using Nova. Nova is generally the first thing I setup on new phones, so it's a credit to the Pixel Launcher that I really considered using sticking with the stock launcher. Ultimately, I decided to go with the beta version of Nova to get most of the Pixel look with the customizations of Nova.

I use it and it works great as always.

I have to admit that I was concerned about the vibration strength also. I think I even made a thread about it. However, after having the watch for about a month, it hasn't been an issue. I haven't missed notifications.

I received the update yesterday evening. I agree with everyone regarding the new charging screen. It's a very nice touch. Also, I feel like the Google Now responsiveness is better, but I'll have to test that a bit more.

+1. No scratches at all on mine and I haven't been particularly careful...
