I have an AT&T branded edge on cricket and it hasn't been updated since November. I check for 7.0 but don't think it'll get it unless I put an AT&T Sim card in.

If you just installed it, it may be a tad laggy, mine was. After like 5 minutes it disappeared and returned to normal, much more responsive.

I'm on AT&T and had an update yesterday and battery life is better for me, and my usage hasn't changed. I think you can delay an update but eventually it will force the download.

Downloaded mine this morning, Android system used to be 22-25% battery and always on top, currently it's 14%. My usage hasn't changed either, I still charge and use the phone the same way.

Just received the olixar clear case. I don't like casing my phones but this phone is slippery. I love the case, very minimal, adds grip and fits perfectly.

Re: not happy with battery life
Try RSBrowser in the play store? I just installed it, plus it blocks ads automatically.

Yeah, I've rooted/unlocked every phone I've had. With this phone and marshmallow, I don't feel the need to root anymore. I would root basically for adaway, greenify and titanium backup to freeze apps.

I used adguard as well, but to was always at the top of my battery usage, I'm gonna try Rsbrowser for a while. I really miss adaway.
