I'll be returning it if it's locked, I'm not prepared to pay this much money for a phone I can't root.

Bootloaders in the UK aren't normally locked, and I know for a fact Vodafone didn't used to lock Samsung bootloaders. But I'm simply trying to find out for certain if it is. There has to be a way.

Anyone know of a way of confirming the bootloader on one of these things is locked or unlocked? I'm on Vodafone UK and my phone was delivered this morning. There doesn't appear to be a way of finding this out without attempting to flash a custom kernel for example, which I'd sooner avoid even if...
