Realistically, I'd expect late October. Maybe later if there's serious demand for these things.

On battery, remember it's only pushing a 1080p display at 5 inches. I'd expect similar battery life to the GS7 (slightly larger, higher-res AMOLED display with a slightly larger battery).

Looks from the recent leaks like there's a basic messenger app installed. Wouldn't be surprised if Allo was preloaded though, especially in India.
