My wife wants a way to get pics directly from her camera (SD card) to the Nexus 7 without a computer in the way. Is rooting the only way to achieve this?

I was trying to make it the default icon up top right next to the share one. There is the share icon, the messaging icon (default messaging app), a play icon for slideshow and the delete icon. If I click on the share Handscent does show up, but it would be nice to change the default up top.

I changed SMS programs to Handscent, but the shortcut in the gallery still takes me to the default messaging app. Is there a way to change the quick send shortcut at the top to the new app?

I suppose I am comparing to my iPhone, when I say this one compresses it I mean it visually compresses it. If the pic was taken in landscape, it smushes it and distorts the picture. Driving me nuts.

When I send a picture to another phone, I get a message that says "image too large, compressing". when the image arrives it has been compressed down so much that it it grainy. When I take one in landscape, it squashes it to fit and makes it all funny looking. Its like it doesnt crop, but just...

So Best Buy wont price match Radio Shack because they only have white. I am going to return my blue S3 and grab the white one. How can I backup all of my data and restore it to the new phone? There has to be a simple solution, I really dont want to lose my contacts or pics/vids. Alex

I did that. I am trying to get this video to my wifes iPhone. I just cant get it there remotely, this is frustrating.

I took a home video of my son on the S3. It came out to 21mb. I am unable to MMS because its too big, and gmail wont send either. How can I compress this to fit a MMS? I saw there is a MMS option before you shoot but its too late for this one.:'(

This is annoying. When I am sending a text message and I want to insert a $ after a word, which I do quite often, I hit the space bar, the symbol key, then push the $. The problem is it puts the $ at the end of the last word. The price is$ rather than The price is $40 Someone please tell me...

The problem is the way my phone send the picture. Its all in the orientation. If the photo was taken beforehand, its send hortizontally but if its taken out of the text screen its sent vertically. Frustrating.

So my wife has the iPhone 4 and I just bought the Atrix. When I try to send her a photo I have already taken with the camera it sends it widescreen and she cant see it in full size. What I mean is when the iphone is held vertically the photo is widecreen with black bars on the top and bottom...

Thanks, I can manually copy over files but I was trying to get the music to sync with my iTunes using the Motorola software. I didnt want to dig through 80gb of music to pick and choose songs when there are already playlists.
