    I have same issue since i updated to marshmallow. I think it happens when there is an app update, everytime it heats up, i check the play store, and there are apps that need updates

    Re: LG G4 Data Drain from Android OS Had same problem, found the solution, its the activity log under 'about'. Turn that off, and ur problem is solved
