    T-Mobile Pre-order Thread.

The $73 isn't the amount you actually get though. The total you get through T-Mobile for the note 8 is $300 (at least if you are doing the EIP). The difference between the two is just broken out monthly as credits on your tmobile bill. They just make it way to confusing.

    T-Mobile Note 9 users Android 10 update

I got the update Friday and my quick share menu is messed up. Instead of the people I commonly text pics, links, etc. to it now has my boss, some person from Twitter I messaged once a year or two ago, and some random spam texts that I must have accidentally archived instead of deleted. No matter...

I can't find the single tap to answer/end calls

I am on a T-Mobile note 9 and still have the option for single tap to swipe after the update. It has stopped working, though. For the first couple of weeks after updating it worked, but there was a stupid, permanent notification constantly that single tap to swipe was turned on. All of a sudden...

always on display after Oreo won't shift

Not sure how I thought my test would be helpful regardless of whether or not it moved, but it has been 20 minutes and no movement with the default AOD clock. When I unlock my screen and lock it again the clock moves, but otherwise nothing.

always on display after Oreo won't shift

What clock do you use? I can change my AOD to that one to see if it moves on mine...

always on display after Oreo won't shift

It just jumped to the right like last night. I'm using the small clock that is on the edge.

always on display after Oreo won't shift

I just re-set my post-it and timed how long until I was sure it had moved and it was 2-3 minutes. It moves slow enough that it is hard to tell even with the post-it. It was 2 min when I thought it had, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't just that I was looking at a slightly different angle...

always on display after Oreo won't shift

I decided to mark where my clock was with a sticky note. Turns out it *is* moving - just much more slowly and incrementally than before. Still monitoring my sticky just to make sure it seems like it moves enough to avoid screen burn-in...not sure how much that is, but I would guess it doesn't...

always on display after Oreo won't shift

Should have mentioned that I'm on T-Mobile.

always on display after Oreo won't shift

I use the small clock on the edge and it doesn't shift anymore either. I tried one of the bigger clocks and it only shifts when I lock and unlock. Hope they fix this soon because I really miss my AOD.

ETA: just saw that you posted on the 2nd, so I guess that blows my theory out of the water.

Not able to set preview for Messages app on android 7.0 with t-mobile

I don't think it's 7.0. I'm still on the Note 7 (T-Mobile) and noticed the same issue yesterday. Just looked on Play and the Messages app was updated on the 3rd...

Any way to recover DCIM folder contents from Note 7?

I haven't tried this, but a quick Google search turned up something called Android Data Recovery. This is their site, but you'll probably want to do a little research into them before going there: https://www.android-recovery.net/android-data-recovery.html I looked for it in Google play and...

I just turned my Note 7 in, I'm sad. The very last possible day for returns.

Yes- exactly! I just bought a note 5 on ebay to have on hand for when all of the "work-arounds" are no longer working. It just aggravates me that I'll be missing out on the 75$ Samsung credit just bc I'd rather wait for the note 8 instead of wasting it on an s7, which will be "old" and available...
