Yeh,, me too I had the same issue with my gs3 that you have.. it is crash about 2-3 times in day when I was working on apps or play video, or games sometimes was crashing even it was in my pocket !! The screen stop (freeze) and nothing work till I keep pressing the shut down bottom I did format...
