Samsung has not fixed the issue and I don't think they are going to. I would not be surprised if they did this on purpose to make people replace the watch. Remember they are comi g out with the gear s4.....not official but 99 % sure they will announce a new watch. Me personally, I may just ditch...

I agree. I thought with the recent update for gear weather & s health would maybe fix things but it didn't.

Don't know of this helps but I called samsung and they are going to.fix NY watch free of charge. I have to mail it ro.them & it takes about a week.

I just got off the phone with samsung complaining about the horrible battery drain & they are going to fix the watch for free even though it's out of warranty. Only bad thing is I have to send it to them so I'm out of a watch for a week to 2 weeks. Not sure what everyone else is doing.

Note 8-verizon, I have not noticed to much of a difference but I can say after updating & doing a reset I can't enable the iris scan with samsung pay. Also I could not sync samsung health with my old.data after the reset. Is anyone else having thisnproblem?

I noticed after the update my battery was draining faster than normal. I did 2 factory resets but it's still an issue. I checked the battery level on my gear app and it says s health is using 86% of the battery. Is there anything I can do to save some juice.

I guess it's gonna be sometime before we get the update from verizon. Has anyone called them?

I still not have received the update & I'm on Verizon in NY state with the 3g version of the s2 & on a galaxy note 3. Just currious on who has received the update with what type of watch so far.

Did u ever try the 3g set to automatic? Is there a big difference in battery usage with that on auto or off?

Hey zom, just curious what's your settings? My battery does not make it the whole day but I charge a little bit in the am when I shower then a little bit in the pm hours. I keep my cellular connection to automatic & have the display set at #5. Usage is a little bit under moderate.

I have the 3g version & it looks like the settings changed with the gps, location & wireless networks. Not sure maybe someone can confirm? Edit****looks like it now let's you select gps or gps/wireless networks. I would say this should improve accuracy.

Just checked & the firmware update is now available. Download is about 5 megs and main purpose is for the battery. Not sure what other improvements. Going to fiddle & see what if any other changes or add ons.

Just wondering how long the battery last for the s2 3g version & what settings your using to get that much. Thanks

I was asking the same thing and my guess is we will get an update soon, but I hope 32 3g versions are included also.
