For those of you that use Titanium Backup.... I have a solution.. I found I had frozen the "MTP application 1.0" app. Once I unfroze this, and reconnected my Note 3, I was able to see the phone and SD Card contents....:D Took me a few weeks to figure this out...... Hope it helps someone else...
