And to think I even considered buying a Nexus 4!! My Motorola defy+ was thrown, dropped, kicked, chewed by a large dog, swam in liquids in multiple occasions and there is not a scratch on the screen! I just wish they made a successor to it because it's slow and not very bright.

Just to make sure - I'm planning to use the phone only outside the US so I definitely need an unlocked phone (I don't want to use any cracking or unlocking process as simple as it may be). Does T-mobile really sell unlocked phones? Is the price really 300$/350$ for the 8GB/16GB models?

My friend is going on a trip to the USA and I want to ask him to buy a Nexus 4 for me (It's half the price in america). But I can't find a physical store that sells the phone! Can you help me?
