Isn't this a note the same as the one on Samsung essentials? I got all my notes back and s notes app installed from Samsung. The interface looks different but I wasn't ever a heavy user.

This is probably the best information I have in favor of Whitestone. Still a little steep at $50.

I second the Samsung rugged case. It's solid. Just wonder if I should get a screen protector.

I think the updates are more timely on the carrier models even though that is ridiculous. I don't need updates right away but knowing I'll get them within the next 9 months is fine by me.

Your trade-ins can be tracked from your order page on Samsung.com. You may want to do this during the week because I shipped on sat, Sept 9th but shows as shipped on mon, Sept 11th even though I got a receipt.

It's probably worth calling or chatting with Samsung to know what to expect. Who knows you may still get refund with the option of sending in another.

You can get it from Mobile fun. Price and shipping are great. Unfortunately the Note 7 is discontinued.

Sold my Note 4 as well. Luckily I have a Note 5. Maybe just sit it out. The V20 isn't all that and the pixel is DOA. Why is it this hard for any phone to come close?

Re: my fears if I keep the N7 I get that. But if there is a recall, the right thing to do would be to move on. Honestly I'm also considering going to the OP3 or some other phone that makes me feel better spending less $. I know s7 edge is an option but I got a loaner and couldn't use it for...
