I had the note 5 for a week on AT&T and then switched to T-mobile and got a different note 5. I have noticed this on both versions. When I plug the phone into the charger that came with it, it doesn't always fast charge. I have to unplug it and plug it back in a few times until it finally says...

It does sort of feel like a rave lol. I went to a different store than I did the first time. What a difference it makes having a knowledgeable employee. I was in and out in about 20 minutes this time. The best part was that he didn't have to pick up the phone and call the corporate overlords...

Right I understand that now. The issue is that the manager said the note 5 just isn't eligible for JOD. The webchat and phone people helped me out though. I still have to go to a store but they noted my account that I can definitely get JOD and so I will head over tomorrow and see.

They should be calling any minute. Will update.

Yes I tried that reset and the screen stayed off. Will Best Buy give me any hassle? I don't want them to accuse me of having damaged it or something when I definitely did not.

It was on 27% so it definitely wasn't dead. I also plugged it in but that didn't help. I don't know which app was downloading, I think I had just hit "update all" and had just approved an app but I don't remember which one.
