I have the HTC Desire 610. I couldn't delete a wallpaper; so I replaced it with my original one. I went to Settings > Personalize> Choose Wallpaper> HTC Wallpapers. I tapped my original wallpaper; tapped Apply at the bottom of the screen, and waalah, back in business. Hope this helps.
