you could stop laying on your side. I would assume you turned off, pulled out battery, etc. Try pulling out battery when it's on. My wife's phone was acting up, pulled out battery when it was on, must have reset something. when in doubt: back it up and reset.

I know this thread is a few months old, but still relevant. Mine fried as well. Got replacement card from SanDisk and now The real question is, If I put the new one in my SIII, will that one get fried too?
