    Yes, for all those who are facing this issue blame it on the incremental update that was pushed out last week. Samsung answered the cries for reducing RAM/ battery usage by disabling wallpaper motion completely...

    Galaxy S6 Edge software update today

    The battery usage has improved so has the RAM usage. But I guess they improved the RAM usage by disabling wallpaper motion...So, yes, the update fixed more than it broke!
