Yes U can reply, u will have to install the app Notifications for gear s from the play store. I have been using it in the same setup as the op and it works pretty decently.

Icons seem to be changed after the new update. One problem I am facing is that the messages get truncated, I can't see the complete message, not sure it is sometime or everytime.

I tried after downloading the maps on the gearS, but without the phone it is not able to pin point the location, also could not find out how to get the directions

Just installed, not getting any alerts even though I have done all the settings, any help Pls? Update - got the Gmail notification. Apparently the notification comeback only when the mobile device is not working. But i was not able to reply to the mail, now how should I do that Pls.

Ok, got it. So when i am remotely connected only then the bt headset will work with the gear s, and when gear is connected thru bt to the note 4, then my bt headset will be also connected to the note 4, and I can see in the watch who is calling and answer thru the bt headset. I will pop in...

Thanks for the quick reply. But other ppl in other threads have mentioned that they are using this setup. And why give the option for headset along with bt connect if it cannot be used.
