I preordered my Pixel XL 128gb for work through Verizon yesterday. My delivery date states 10/21. I tried to use the Promo code for the VR, but it said to wait until my device has delivered and been activates. Is everyone able to confirm their VR from Verizon prior to delivery?

Does this tool leave the older kernel on the phone or does it flash the stock kernel back on once complete? I only see the one kernel in the zip file so I'm curious. Thanks
