    Google Wakelock hell

I cannot get out of a Google wakelock. Bookmarks, contacts, calendar, books, services, play store you name it. Freezing apps is not releasing it, rebooting is not releasing it, force stopping apps is not releasing it, turning off auto sync is not releasing it. Deep Sleep battery saver and...

Facebook Home - will you be using it?

Absolutely have no interest in this. The only thing I even have Facebook still installed on my phone is so Facebook events I'm attending will sync with my calendar widget. Every other feature of the Facebook app is disabled.

HTC Sense 5 has been ported over to the HTC EVO 4G LTE, and the first public beta has been released

I plan on checking it out once they get the bluetooth issues ironed out. Hell I bet they get this port running better than HTC will be able to get the official release to.

    Notifications cause audio playback problems

It does it over bluetooth or headphone jack when Beats Audio is turned on for me. Navigation directions will glitch for a quick second, timers and alarms won't sound either over bluetooth with Beats Audio on.

Android 4.2 Sense 5 could be coming to Evo 4G LTE?

Eh, after the last Sense update I'm weary of anything after that. IMO they just added a bunch of crap we didn't want or need(like battery save setting stuck in your notification bar), took away the ability to remove the Beats icon, moved a bunch of apps to system apps so we can't disable them...

stock vs cyanogen vs different 3rd party?

Compared to stock Sense ROMs the CM ROM's seem to always have issues. MeanBean was really stable for me and you can overclock with the sticky settings and still get great battery life. I also recommend installing Greenify if you're rooted ans battery life should be amazing after that.

    EVO 4G LTE issues

I'd actually argue that point in reverse. My phone has never been more stable since rooting. It is much faster, things run much more smoothly, and battery life smashes stock with root apps like Greenify. Hell if I'd left it stock, my proximity sensor would have been broken almost half the time...

    EVO 4G LTE issues

People running stock will never be able to correctly comment on the 1x vs. 3g because they think that they are at getting 3g speeds at all times when they are not. I was in Houston for a day a month ago and had a solid 4g signal the entire time I was there. Around my local area I've never had...

    Appreciation Time

Yeah it seems that's the route most people will take. Especially if they aren't really tech savvy and don't want to take the risk. I just can't see myself taking the phone back 3 or more times to get to switch to a different phone with no charge, go through the effort of causing a big ruckus in...

    Appreciation Time

Couldn't agree more......and I'll add to that saying they'll run to the internet bashing the phone too. I'll say too many people were/are blaming the phone for issues that some rogue or crap app they installed were/are causing. ESPECIALLY for things regarding battery life after the JB update...

Bizarre car mode / speakerphone volume issue

My phone does this too and I've read about this issue here and on a couple different forums and there doesn't appear to be a fix for it short of using another car app or having your audio streamed to your car through the headphone jack or bluetooth.

    Appreciation Time

I completely agree. I remember when doing the research for phones last year I knew this was the phone for me. It had the specs I wanted and I much preferred the look and build of this phone to the S3. I knew I would eventually be rooting and wish I would have done so earlier as the setup on my...

Will the E4GLTE receive the Sense 5 upgrade???

That's not at all what I was getting at.

    HTC will just not learn

Exactly. HTC obviously does not have the resources to support many different devices after release from a software perspective( you should not take over a month to fix something you broke in an OTA release"proximity sensor issue") nor in advertising for new phone models. It's like as if people...
