    Before you continue, you should start by backing up everything you can if you haven't done so already. Put your SD card into another phone or a computer and just pull whatever you want off of it, there's a chance your SD card might get wiped. What was the last thing you did before it started...

    Sorry, Had to edit, for some reason I got here while looking at HTC devices. I would start by backing up any data on your daughters phone. From there, you might want to consiter wiping the phone if there's no way to get into the system menu and uninstall the app.

    If you're getting into CWM then your phone isn't bricked. And to answer your question (at least I think it's a question.) the contents of your SD card SHOULD be safe. It's not unheard of for a SD card to get wiped once in a while, but under most circumstances, you know when you're wiping your SD...
