AC editors have the Note 10+ in-hand and we're answering your Q's!

There's a wide-angle camera, and a telephoto camera. Those are the only places the Note 10+ is better than the Pixel 3's camera experience. The Pixel 3 still beats it in the main camera and selfie department.

Working the exact same for me as the S10+. Meaning it works fine, but it isn't particularly fast or consistent compared to ones like the OnePlus 7 Pro. I really wish Samsung could've made some improvements here.

Volume down + power button, but you have to just press briefly rather than press and hold. A press and hold of that combo sends you into the power-off menu by default. You can still screenshot with a palm swipe or with the S Pen as well.

Just like the S10 series, there's a super basic screen protector installed. If you don't like screen protectors, you'll peel it right off and be much happier. If you do like screen protectors ... you'll peel it right off and put a better one on. It's pretty simple and cheap-feeling.

It does the same light-up animation around the front-facing camera as the S10

Battery drops fast after taken off charger

I've always experienced this on Samsung phones. The first 10% of drain (100-90%) is always pretty quick to go. And in general, Samsung phones just aren't well known for their standby battery life. Even if you're "not doing anything" with the phone, the phone is still doing a lot.

Android Auto Issues (GPS / Apps)

Interesting, I haven't had either of those issues when using AA (standalone, not plugged into car) on my GS9+. The only issue I have is that I park in a deep underground parking garage with no cell signal, and most of the time if I launch AA before I exit the garage, the phone takes a really...

Does the Samsung Galaxy S9 have Dual Camera mode?

Don't see that option on my Galaxy S9 in any way.

How does 'squeeze your pixel2' to launch the assistant actually work?

HTC did indeed introduce this feature, but it was just a few months ago on the HTC U11. The feature works identically on the new Pixel 2 and 2 XL in terms of squeezing. You can adjust how much pressure it takes to launch, and it works in a case as well. All it does is open up Google Assistant...

    Antivirus app

There's no need for antivirus on Android, but it simply offers some people a peace of mind that they have an extra layer of "protection" on their phone. Unfortunately this also often leads to a false sense of security as well. So long as you're downloading reputable apps from Google Play...

    Wireless Charging

Nothing to be concerned about so long as you're using a good, genuine charger like Samsung's. It knows what to do to handle battery health and heat :)

    This keyboard is killing me

It's not you. It's Samsung's bad keyboard. Its prediction is just ... bad. It's gotten better over the last few iterations but for whatever reason just doesn't work well still. I vote for Gboard :)

    Digital Assistant?

Indeed Essential originally had announced it was going to have its own type of smart "assistant" software that tied everything together and would be a key feature of the phone — but more so that was a feature of the upcoming Essential Home device. That software of course never made it to the...
