For some reason Wifi tethering will not work whatsoever on Jellybean on my device. I've tried multiple apps from the Play Store as well as the tethering option in the settings menu. The only thing that works is USB tethering.

I've been running the leaked build for a few hours now (easily found via a Google search--the Verizon version now has fixed LTE and WiFi connectivity) It's so smooth! Buttery smooth ;) And the new voice recognition is quite amazing. Blows Siri and S voice out of the water. High five to Google.

Simply download "Wireless Tether for Root" from the Play Store. Works like a charm, and VZ doesn't throttle 4g...

Download a different launcher. I know that some have the option to automatically sort your app drawer based on how many times you open an app. You could then add those apps to your homescreen. I use Apex Launcher In Apex's settings, you have an option to sort your app drawer based on 'mostly...

This is the size of battery the Nexus really needed to be shipped with. (VZ extended) It is definitely more reasonable than the stock battery, but hardly gives anything near 'great or even good' battery life :(

I use the same option on AOKP, it is so helpful with killing Facebook (the worst application known to exist)

Hm, try long pressing on the home screen to see if you can access the menu that way. Is there an icon to Miui settings on the homescreen? I know the launcher comes with icon shortcuts to the theme store and other miui things.

I can't wait to try these out! I use Instagram a lot, and the push notifications are extremely annoying.
