The Nexus 6 does not support tap to wake, as it does not have the necessary hardware. There's a functionality called ambient display which awakens the screen when the devices is picked up. It's not very reliable and can be hit or miss. To use go to Settings, Display and Ambient Display.

Max I have ever used is about 50 GB on Verizon Wireless.

I like the look and software of HTC One(m8), besides the Nexus 5.

To have latest and most powerful device, especially with improved battery life.

The 64GB of storage and a Tegra 3 Processor should be able to make up for not having a removable battery.
