It's taken six months so far and I can't find any Android tablet that I can be sure of getting Oreo on. If manufacturers take so long to sort these updates out, they must blame themselves for disappointing sales if they don't provide decent support for their products.

Any news? Just tried to find any tablet with Oreo but can't find any. My old ASUS Nexus 7 (2013) needs a new battery and 32GB is not really enough for all my media so either a 64Gb model or one with a micro-sd slot would be OK. I really want Oreo as Google have at last fixed the date problem...

Seems a lot of people have this or similar problems using the OTA update to 6.0.1 - there's a whole load of people over at the Google product support forums with the problem - https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/nexus/ywnBJAuamno;context-place=forum/nexus

I have a very similar problem - no "badgeprovider". Eveythings working fine for some time even after Marshmallow update but no only Gmail count is correct. Other apps no longer show a count and "Messages" has a 2 count permanently even though all are read.

It's not really a major problem IF one could actually get hold of a 32Gb or 64Gb model. Here in Europe there is a deafening silence on the larger memory variants. Many people will be getting this phone on contract and in the contract period will almost certainly end up running out of memory as...

There's nothing to beat the Galaxy Note a the the moment. Apart from the Galaxy SIII, the HTC One X might have been a rival but the on-board codecs, memory card slot and removeable 2500 mAh battery put the One X to shame when compared wit the Galaxy Note.

You can select either the arrow or the circle from the settings menu - Language and Input - Moue and track pad settings

Sounds like you may ave a wifi problem with either your Transformer or you access point. There are some free apps that will let you chack the signal strngth and channel etc - I use WiFi analyser. The wifi problem would also explain the keyboard lag as the charactes you type are not echoed back...

Ours did it from time to time but now using 8.6.5.9 (WW version) of Honeycomb 3.2 it has not done it = maybe just a coincidence though!
