10 hours off the charger, 3+ hrs SOT yesterday, and I still had 60% left. This phone has the best battery life I've ever seen, since I started using a smartphone in the early 2000s (Treo 300).

It has never worked for me on the N8.

I've had my Note 8 for over a month now, and it gets better every day. Prior to that, I used a Note 4 for 3 years and a Note 2 for 2 years before that, so I think I might hold onto the 8 for a long while.

I usually play Hearthstone or Clash Royale. Thanks for the tip on WGT Golf though. I didn't realize there was a game like this on Android.

TMo has this feature. It is under General Management - Reset. The easiest way to find it is to search for "restart" in the settings app.

Actually the Treo 300. Other plusses on this phone are that it never gets warm and has MST, which is the best new practical technology in smartphones in years IMO.

Re: Fixing the lag Thanks everyone. I'm glad I'm not crazy about the recent lag, and it's reassuring to know that the patch will fix it, whenever ATT gives it to us. I tried the steps in the OP post but the recents lag is still there.

I agree with this part completely. There's a whole lot more to the note than the S-Pen. Size, multi-window, battery life, etc. But the SPen is near the top of the long list for me.

Does anyone know of a wallet case that has card storage behind the phone? I'm not a fan of the book style case, but I'd like to carry 2-3 cards or so.

I have over 150 SNotes on my Note 2 that were taken while on a call. Its also super convenient to mark up PDFs or screenshots. I am a big fan of the SPen, and only the Notes do it right.
