So I figured out the exact process that causes the O2 sensor to turn on when on a light surface - Health Services (Samsung) can at least be force stopped and the sensor will stop turning on. Unfortunately, that is a big flaw that needs to be better addressed. For now, this fix will have to do...

Updated this morning, smooth sailing so far. However, is anyone else's oxygen sensor on the rear lighting up when you put the phone down on a light colored surface? Put it down on a dark surface, its fine, on a light surface the sensor lights up for a moment then turns off. Not a deal breaker...

I'd like to try it out. Have an M7 with hboot 1.57 - after returning it to stock, then updating it to 4.4.3, I can't get past bootloader. It's probably perm bricked, but I'll try anything at this point.

I have tethered my Nexus 7 to a rooted Galaxy Express (for ATT), and it worked great. Used the Foxfi app and it was easy setup as well as nice speed on LTE. Posted via Android Central App

Mine says update is ready for download, but I'm rooted on stock 4.2.2 - so wondering if I update will I lose root? Tried to find answer elsewhere but no joy. Update: hmmm, just saw this on XDA PSA: DO NOT UPDATE TO MF3 - It patches root exploit - xda-developers Maybe I will wait.....:-\
