I also have the same problem. My phone is the old Nexus 5.

I use both. The wireless charger is on my office desk 24/7. I only use cable charging at home on a weekend.

Just got my N5 updated to 4.4.4 via OTA. Still have to explore what has changed.

Received the update here in the Philippines.

My Note 2 serves me well and I am happy about it. You dont need to wait for the Note 3, if you really need a new one now. As for being the latest and greatest, its all about you being contented and happy with what you have. As long as your device can still serves its purpose. Sure thing though...

I cannot answer your 1st question. What I did was searched on the internet for upgrade news and patiently waited. Q2. I dont think it is necessary to have a Kies software but when I upgraded my Tab from HC to ICS, I used Kies since there were not OTA updates. I saw some posts in the internet...

The P6200 with ICS has a dedicated button for screenshots. But when I upgraded to JB, this button is now gone. To do screenshots, I use the power button + Volume Down

I have received the JB update for my P6200 via OTA. It is now running on JB. Unfortunately, I cannot get a screenshot as I used to when it was in ICS. The screenshot button in ICS is now gone in JB. Still need to explore on this functionality.

I would recommend you wait for the update in the Philippines. As far as I know, JB roll out for the 7.0 Plus has been released in the following Asian countries. Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Glad to hear you got it solved. Anyways, it would have been a very low charger mA you have there. Sometimes, I charge my P6200 using my powerbank port with 500mA and the red "X" will not appear. Charging is slow though but at least I wont run out of juice while I dont have a wall outlet to plug...

Try charging your tab2 with its OEM charger. If the red "X" still appears, without disconnecting it from the OEM charger, restart your tab2 and hopefully the red "X" will disappear.
