Thanks for that Jerry - I edited all the pics in PS CS2 at the same time as I changed them all from img. files to jpgs. - but I'll have another look at that aspect, but as you say a 3rd party app may be the easiest answer - do you have any suggestions as to an appropriate one? Thanks...

Can someone out there please please help me - spent the day unsuccessfully trying to import a file with pictures without the image order being muddled up - can import the file no problem but the pictures are all re-arranged despite tagging the pictures and re-numbering the photos themselves...
