Just spoke to TNT. It seems that "please call" in the shipping status means that Google hasn't given them the item yet.

I & my wife got our shipping notifications last night. Now, however, TNT's tracking system appears overloaded... I can't see what the status of my N4 is.

I ordered at 17:08:16. I'm still waiting for my shipping message.

Someone at my work ordered in the first 5 minutes and his N4 arrived on Monday. I know that people thought there was some kind of late-order/early-delivery correlation, but I now think it's just random.
